Have you seen Butterworth's house on Oneroa beach, Waiheke? Ugly as sin. The council put a stop work on it because he pretty much carved half the hill away, and f*cked up all the drainage on the neighbouring properties.

I must admit I am looking forward to seeing these bohemoth boats go flat out.

The insurance companies don't cover them if the breeze is over 15 knots..

i think its because Oracle is the challenger of record.

Alinghi tried to change the rules to suit them. it was a scam. Oracle sued and as the challenger of record was awarded the right to a seperate challenge by the courts.

some sh*t like that.

the boats are freakin amazing, its gonna be interesting to watch.
